OBI stock a large range of Taper Roller Bearings for use in Wireline Sheaves.
These bearings of Double Cup design have inside chamfers and slots to allow lubrication through the shaft.
In addition this type of bearing also has a ground face rib which is extended sufficiently to allow a seal to run directly on the bearing.		 Double Cup Taper Roller Bearing
 
Clark Seal in Situ This picture shows a Clark CE series seal in situ running directly on the bearing cone rib.
This seal has a metal case for rigidity and is encapsulated in rubber for full corrosion protection.
